Obituary

Betty M. Henderson, 84 yrs., of Honey Brook, formerly of Glenmoore, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 at The Meadows Health Care Center at the Tel Hai Retirement Community.

Betty was born on April 15, 1928 in Honey Brook. She was the daughter of the late Wilmer & Ida Mary (Sagner) Miller. Betty was the wife of the late Gilbert L. Henderson, who died on September 5, 1998.

She was a homemaker who’s hobbies/interests included dancing and time spent with her family.

4 brothers; Robert, Alvin, Lloyd, George, Vernon and 3 sisters; Marguerite, Dorothy and Frances precede her in death.

Surviving Betty are 2 daughters, Debra J., wife of Kenneth Stanford of Morgantown and Donna M., wife of Robert Stanford of Honey Brook; 3 brothers; Wilmer Miller of Honey Brook, Charles Miller of Gordonville and Galen Miller of Honey Brook; 2 sisters; Lillian Spotts of Honey Brook and Emma White of Morgantown. There are 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 11AM from the Chapel of the Tel Hai Retirement Community, 3100 Tel Hai Circle, Honey Brook, with Chaplain Tim Herr officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Presbyterian Cemetery. There will be a calling hour one hour prior to the service at the Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Betty to the Tel Hai Care Assurance Fund, PO Box 190, Honey Brook, PA 19344-0190.
