Mary Crosson, formerly of Downingtown and Coatesville, died Aug. 19, 2016. Her areas of knowledge were diverse as well: antique perfume bottles and movie classics, books and Scrabble, art and design, plants and gardening.
Mary graduated from Coatesville High School in 1940, and had a career as a homemaker. She had been a member of the former First Baptist Church of Downingtown and its Philathea Bible Class, and a member of the Tri-State Bottle Club. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Jill Hamby (Alex Hamby), Jason Brown (Tara Brown), Devon Crosson, and Rebecca Brown Wojcik (Robert Wojcik). Also seven great-grandchildren (Logan, Joseph and Sara Hamby; Danae Russum; Jarith Crosson; Theodore and Zachery Wojcik) and two great-great-grandchildren (Wade Hamby and River Guignard), and her sister-in-law Vivian Piersol
