Alberdina “Dee” Zomer

“The Lord Is My Rock In Whom I Will Trust”

On January 16, 2020 in her 88th year. The Lord took home his loving child, Dee Zomer. Born in Hoogeveen, Drenthe, The Netherlands. Beloved wife of the late Fred Zomer, with whom she shared 66 years of marriage. Loving mother to Ann and her husband Henry Heerschop and Arleen Zomer and the late Jenny Zomer. Sweet Oma to Heather (Mark) Kelly (Jeremy) Derek (Jess) and Peter (Brittany). Preceded in death by a grandson, John Frederick. Also surviving are 10 beloved great grandchildren. Dee is survived by siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family in Canada and Holland. Also, by many dear loving friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 11 AM from Honey Brook Presbyterian Church, 4331 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook, Pa., with Rev. William J. Wisneski officiating. A visitation hour will be held from 10 to 11 AM at the church. A private interment will be held at the Fairview Presbyterian Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Dee to the Honey Brook Presbyterian Church, PO Box 276, Honey Brook, Pa. 19344-0276.
