Obituary

Ulbe Faber, 80, of Honey Brook, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, at his home.

He was born on Feb 26, 1928, in Hylaard, Netherlands, and was the son of the late Gerber and Douwtje (deVries) Faber. He was the husband of Mintje (Hoekstra) Faber, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.

Ulbe served in the Royal Dutch Air Force, following World War II. He retired as an engineer for General Electric. He was also a co-owner, with his son, of Faber Machine Inc. until his retirement.

Ulbe is survived, in addition to his wife, by sons, Gerald Faber of Honey Brook, Howard Richard Faber of Pleasant Hill, Ore., and Sidney Lloyd Faber of Cranberry Township; as well as three brothers, three sisters and six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Faber's memory to the Deacons Fund of Fairview Presbyterian Church, 800 Fairview Road, Glenmoore, PA 19343.

The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., of Honey Brook was in charge of arrangements.
