James Seldomridge Lichty North Charleston - James Seldomridge Lichty, 93, of North Charleston, SC, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018. His funeral service will be held Sunday, January 28, 2018 in the Second Presbyterian Church, 342 Meeting Street at 2:00 pm. A service will also be held at Fairview Presbyterian Church with burial in the church cemetery in Glenmoore, PA. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL. James was born August 22, 1924 in Monterey Lancaster, PA, son of the late Lyman Lichty and the late Anna May Seldomridge Lichty. He was an Army veteran and fought in the Battle of the Bulge in WWII. He was an engineer and retired from HNTB Engineering. James was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. He is survived by two sons, Leonard Lichty (Victoria) of Blandon, PA and Raymond Lichty (Pamela) of Goshen, IN; two daughters, Zaya Sammataro and Patricia Lichty both of Reading, PA; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife of 63 years, Aurora Lichty. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Second Presbyterian Church, 342 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29403.
