Obituary

John S. Gardner, 93 yrs., of Honey Brook, formerly of Bucks County, died on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Meadows Health Care Center at the Tel Hai Retirement Community, following an illness.

He was born on April 25, 1921 in Pa. John was the son of the late Mitton B. and Ethel "Leah" (Seacrest) Gardner. He was the husband of Sarah Jane (Ley) Gardner, with whom he shared 66 years of marriage.

John was a retired tool and die maker. He was a veteran of WWII, serving as a medic in the US Army. John was Baptist by his faith and attended Tel Hai Chapel. He enjoyed travel and photography.

John was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are a host of extended family members.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 2 PM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc. 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. with his nephew, Rev. David Ley officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Presbyterian Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

A memorial service will held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 4 PM from the Chapel of the Tel Hai Retirement Community, 3100 Tel Hai Circle, Honey Brook, Pa. For directions to the Chapel at Tel Hai, please visit www.telhai.org
