Obituary

Mary A. Maholland, 84, of Brandamore, passed away on Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was the loving wife of the late William F. Maholland III, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1997.
Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late George and Bertha Rothas Harple.
Mary loved spending time with her family and thoroughly enjoyed cooking and feeding them.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her two children, William F. Maholland IV and his wife, Carol L, and her daughter Deborah L. Maholland; she is also survived by a sister, Frances Wiggins; four grandchildren, Melissa, William V, Charles and Amy; five great-grandchildren, Charles Jr. "CJ", William, Andrew, Darla and Brogan; and her very special niece, Mary.
She was predeceased by a sister and two brothers.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown.
Interment will be private.
