Ray E. White, Jr., age 74, husband of Patsy (Gingher) White of Phoenixville, PA, formerly of Glenmoore, PA died at home late Tuesday evening, April 27, 2010. Born in Bellefonte, PA he was a son of the late Ray E. White, Sr. and LaRue (Leitzell) White. Mr. White was a 1953 graduate of the Bellefonte High School. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Army. Mr. White was a certified public accountant all of his life. He formerly worked as the Executive Vice President of the John R. Hollingsworth Company in Phoenixville. More recently, Mr. White was working as the First Deputy Controller for Chester County. Mr. White was a very active member of the Fairview Presbyterian Church in Glenmoore where he served as a Church Elder. He was also a past president and served on the Owen J. Roberts School Board for over 10 years. In addition to his wife of 52 years, Mr.White is survived by Three Daughters; Alicia W., wife of Steven Shussett, of Allentown, PA, Stephanie W., wife of Carl Adrian of East Vincent, Megan W., wife of Dennis Sutterfield, of Royersford, PA, one sister; Ruth Kuhn, of Bellefonte, one brother; Robert White of Bellefonte, Eight Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. White was pre-deceased by three siblings; Jean Miller, Dorothy Scull, Priscilla Praskovich. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at the Fairview Presbyterian Church, 800 Fairview Road, Glenmoore, PA 19343 on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 10:30AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Mark D. Atkinson. Friends may call from 6:00 ?" 8:00 PM Monday evening at the Church. There will be no calling time at the Church prior to the service on Tuesday.
