Grace Stradling Cornog of Honey Brook Grace Stradling Cornog, 89, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Tel Hai Retirement Community. She was born in Honey Brook to the late George T. Sr. and Helen (White) Stradling and was the wife of the late W. Gilbert Cornog. Grace was a member of Honey Brook Methodist Church from 1940-1949, Fairview Presbyterian from 1949-1954 and Windsor Baptist Church from 1985-2017. She was a Sunday school teacher and president of the Women’s Associations of Fairview and Windsor. She is survived by two sons, Gary L., husband of Jacqueline Cornog of Shartlesville, Samuel J., husband of Sherry Cornog of Aberdeen, NC; a granddaughter, Jillian L., wife of Daniel Cook; three grandsons, Mark C., Samuel G. and Luke B. Cornog; three great-grandchildren, Waylon W. Cornog, Kaitlyn Teresa Cook and Amelia Rose Cook and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Cornog Andrews. A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017, from 10 to 11 am, at the Windsor Baptist Church, 213 Little Conestoga Road, Downingtown, followed by her funeral service at 11 am, with Pastors Paul E. Chaya and Benjamin O’Toole officiating. Interment will take place in the Fairview Presbyterian Cemetery, Glenmoore, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grace S. Cornog Memorial Fund, Windsor Baptist Church, 213 Little Conestoga Road, Downingtown, PA 19335. Arrangements by Stradling Funeral Homes, Inc., Akron/Ephrata.
