EAST FALLOWFIELD — Eleanor C. (Ruch) Dailey, 76, of East Fallowfield, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, at Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville. She was a resident of Boiling Springs and later moved to Ephrata nd from there to East Fallowfield. She was born in Northumberland and was a 1952 graduate of Northumberland High School. Eleanor was employed by Bell Telephone, Sunbury, as a telephone operator. She was a longtime member of Allison United Methodist Church, Carlisle. Eleanor was a homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed her circle of friends from TOPPS (aka “Monday night dance class”). Eleanor was an avid crossword puzzler, gardener, caregiver to her favorite pets, and a seasoned jigsaw puzzler. Eleanor is survived by her husband of 51 years, Richard J. Dailey; two daughters, Allison Pinkston and Deb Jones; her son-in-laws, Greg Pinkston and Rob Jones; six grandchildren, Caleb, JoLynn, Brianna, Caitlin, Andrew, and Rachel; her three siblings, Charles, Theron, and Patricia Ruch. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua Pinkston. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fairview Presbyterian Church, Glenmoore, followed by a memorial service at 11. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements by Donohue Funeral Home, Downingtown.
