Obituary

R. Harvey Roeder, 70 yrs., of Honey Brook, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Reading Hospital, following an illness.

He was born on June 14, 1952 in West Chester. Harvey was the son of Martha (Funderwhite) Roeder of Glenmoore and the late Rupert R. Roeder.

He was a well-known stone mason/brick layer for many years. Harvey loved to hunt, fish, tend to his garden, make beef jerky, and took pride in his woodworking. He was a graduate of Downingtown High School and attended a college in Texas

Harvey is survived by his three daughters, Kate Roeder of Saratoga Springs, NY, Afton Smith of San Diego and Shannon Fink of Parkesburg and two sisters, Susan Baer of Honey Brook and Ann Roeder of Glenmoore. There are five grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 11 AM at Fairview Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Glenmoore, Pa.. There will be no viewing or funeral home service.
