Obituary

Matthew Colin Standeven, 31, of Leola, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005. He was the husband of Jennifer Townsend Standeven for the past 11 years.

Born in Euclid, Ohio, Matthew was the son of David Standeven of Downingtown and Carol Whitesel Standeven of Lancaster.

A 1992 graduate of Downingtown High School, Matthew worked in the restaurant business for over ten years, most recently, as a waiter at the Ship Inn of Exton. He enjoyed cooking, playing pool and spending time with his children.

In addition to his wife and parents, Matthew leaves behind two daughters, Brittany E. and Courtney A. of Leola; two brothers, Adam C. of Maryland and Christopher L. of Pottstown and one sister, Ashley M. of Lancaster.

A funeral service will take place at 12 NOON on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, 19335, where family and friends may call from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Interment will be in Fairview Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Glenmoore.
